Since 2022, Strive Hall Youth Programs has hosted immersive experiences at Florida Gulf Coast University, providing students with structured exposure to campus life, guided workshops, and peer collaboration.

What Students Experienced at FGCU

Students:

  • Lived on campus for a full weekend

  • Participated in guided learning sessions

  • Engaged in collaborative challenges

  • Explored academic and entrepreneurial pathways

  • Reflected on next steps with peer and mentor support

Program Structure at FGCU

At FGCU, the experience included:

  • On-campus housing

  • Meals throughout the program

  • Structured workshops and facilitation

  • Program materials

Each campus experience is designed to align with institutional guidelines and student development goals.

  • High school students

  • First-generation and under-resourced students

  • Students exploring college pathways

  • Students selected through school and community partners

Looking Ahead

Strive Hall Youth Programs will return to Florida Gulf Coast University in Summer 2027. Future campus experiences will continue building on the foundation established through prior immersive programs at FGCU. Students and institutional partners will be notified as opportunities reopen.
